None of the routines in IMSL MATH LIBRARY Special Functions print results (but error messages may be printed). The output is returned in FORTRAN variables, and you can print these yourself.

The IMSL routine UMACH (see theReference Material section of this manual) retrieves the FORTRAN device unit number for printing. Because this routine obtains device unit numbers, it can be used to redirect the input or output. The section on “Machine-Dependent Constants” in the Reference Material contains a description of the routine UMACH.
